The Catholic News ServiceAs President Barack Obama continues to focus on his political base and push through policies that are anathema to the pro-life movement, he is having difficulty finding a suitable candidate to represent his administration at the Vatican...the Obama administration has put forward three candidates for consideration but each of them have been deemed insufficiently pro-life by the Vatican.
One of the few conditions the Vatican places on diplomats accredited to the Holy See is that they hold pro-life views in line with Church teaching.
Vatican sources said not only was the report inaccurate, but that its premise was faulty. The Vatican has not been in the habit of vetting the personal beliefs or ideas of candidates before accepting them as ambassadors, they said...'For Catholic ambassadors, there is the question of their matrimonial situation. But outside of that, I don't think there are other criteria," said one Vatican source.Hat Tip Swampland
I found that report odd, too.Why would the Vatican have veto power over Obama's Baby killing "diplomats"? Since when does any foreign power tell us who we are allowed to have a ambassador?

It names Kennedy as not being rejected, but makes no mention of the other two. One could infer that the Vatican did then reject at least two other individuals, no?
