"We have great ideas to get America out of the mess it's in! And you'll love them! And THAT'S WHY WE'RE HIDING THEM UNTIL A MONTH BEFORE THE ELECTIONS!" It's exactly the same strategy that movie studios use when they have a movie that they just know you'll love - refuse to screen it for critics before it opens.
