What, no pictures of Laura, Elizabeth, and Ann? I must say I am relieved that I didn't have to look at photos of Randi, Rosie, and Susan.
I forgot to ask..
Is "your point" that Republican women in positions of power are just there for their looks, and nothing else? Are they "All sizzle, and no bacon" as a boss of mine used to say?
That the women you mentioned (and then addended)are merely eye candy, and nothing else?
No, all the women I have been talking about are quite qualified for their jobs. In fact, in Rice's case she's much better qualified than her immediate supervisor.
"My point" as you so eloquently scare-quote, is that no matter what your qualifications, Republicans won't even consider a woman for public office unless she's a smokin' hottie.
So we have qualified people in those positions, and they are hotter than their Democrat counterparts.
Another perk of being a Republican.

She [Palin] talked about energy. Didn’t matter! Today everybody’s running in circles — we want to have her over for dinner. I trust her. I want her watching my kids. I want her laying next to me in bed. That’s the way people vote.
