Personally, I'd love to see Pat Quinn the Lt. Gov. take over. He is a pretty good guy. I didn't vote for him, but I would support him.
As to this gov. he is utterly useless and has been since day one. Aside from the personal corruption, he was also a do nothing gov. So, even if you could get past the personal corruption to at least want to support what he DID in office you'd have nothing to hang your hat on.
All he did was posture, hold press conferences, and announce a myriad of programs that he never funded nor worked up support for amongst the legislature. Then he'd hide in his Chicago home (from where re operated because he refused to move into the Guv's mansion in the state capitol) and do nothing otherwise.
Then, when he actually decided to take a trip to Springfield, he charged the people for his plane ride!
This guy is a human leech.
Leeches don't have hair like that.
Oh, I don't know. Jimmy Carter had pretty good hair. So did Bill Clinton.
